Looking Back at 2022: Bridge Global Year in Review
Oh boy, another year has flown by! It’s time for us to do a recap of the year 2022 and analyze our ups and downs. It is that time of the year to count our blessings and express our gratitude to our clients and teams. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve businesses with the right software development teams and solutions.
Now, as the year 2022 is wrapping up, let’s take a peek at what we’ve accomplished and learned.
Formation of Sanskriti Teams
The year 2022 started with a bang with the formation of cultural and sports teams. Sanskriti, the arts & sports committee at Bridge Global, divided Bridgys into four teams (Puthooram Veedu, Home, Illuminati, Nedumballi) with capable captains at their helm. Bridgys were busy deciding names and designing logos for their respective teams and it was revealed in a fun-filled weekly gathering.
It marked the start of the rollicking and Fahrenheit-raising contests & events that await us throughout 2022.
International Women’s Day & International Men’s Day 2022
It’s a noble tradition for us to celebrate the women at Bridge with magnanimity. We unanimously voiced the ‘Break the Bias’ theme of International Women’s Day 2022 on March 8th. Watch the video here: youtu.be/1cf9Oqkd6wk
International Men’s Day on November 19th was celebrated with the release of a video featuring men at Bridge Global expressing their Man in Me’. Watch it here: youtu.be/OexiCT3J85E. We did it as a unique way to celebrate and honor all the men out there for enriching our lives.
A Long-Awaited Get-Together at Office
Our monthly get-together took a fresh start after the pandemic with the first offline get-together at the office happening on March 31st, 2022. Bridgys had a fab get-together at the office.
Meeting colleagues face-to-face after two years of hybrid & WFH mode has been really relaxing.
To add the cherry on the cake, Sanskriti organized some fun & engaging games to ensure everyone had the time of their life.
Iftar Party
We don’t spare any festivals as they are great ways to bond and be merry. Our Iftar party at the office proved to be a great way to have fun and happiness. It was filled with fun-filled chitchats, activities, and a platter full of deliciousness.
Mother’s Day & Father's Day 2022
We celebrated the supermoms in our office and the supermoms who have made us what we are on Mother’s Day 2022 (May 8). was celebrated.
Father’s Day 2022 on June 19th couldn’t go unnoticed as it was the day dedicated to the person whom we all admiringly look up to our entire lives - sometimes as a humorous, true friend and sometimes as an always enthusiastic, encouraging teacher.

Honored Game Changers
We value employees who linger with us for a long time, and hence we appreciated those who’ve completed 5 years and more with an appreciation series in social media known as ‘Game Changers’. We let the world know about our amazing game changers who are positive partakers in our growth and stability.
Celebrated Star Performers
Appreciating and uplifting employees who perform above and beyond our expectations is an unfailing tradition at Bridge Global. We honored our Star performers for different quarters: Jithesh KT (Q1 2022), Mohammed Hasban K P (Q2 2022), Saji Xavier & Minnu Rahman (Q3 2022).
A Great Episode of Team Outings
This year, we took team outings to a fab new level with every team going out for a one-day trip.
The great intent behind it was to initiate a team bonding experience as many new hires were hired during the pandemic and it was crucial to get them involved with the other teammates naturally.
And what else could do the wonder better than a team outing that weaves beautiful memories by blending through nature?
The Great Festivity Returns to Office – Our Own Onam
We brought the spirit of Onam back to the office by letting the festival go off the shackles of online celebration (due to the pandemic...sigh!)
Every Bridgy participated in this festive grandeur by flaunting traditional attires, participating in Onam games and contests, and relishing a grand feast bringing back the true spirit of Onam.
Flower carpets and decorations that vibrate the Onam spirit were spread across all the 3 floors of our office. A Bridgy dressed up as 'Maveli' (the legendry king in whose remembrance the festival is celebrated) added the fun element to the entire celebration.
The Launch of ‘Happy Hours’ Season ONE
We have rolled out many initiatives to entertain and enlighten techies, and this time we thought of an out-of-the-box idea! Happy Hours is a talent fest for all the techies of the region.
The inaugural event was conducted on October 12, 2022 at our newly custom-designed event venue on the 3rd floor of our office building.
Happy Hours is conceived as a talent-networking fest for IT professionals to flaunt their talents and enjoy the limelight. The first season had two editions. Both of them were studded with enthralling music, dance, and DJ performances from techies from different IT companies. Season Two of the event will kick-start in January 2022.
IT Futsal Challenge – Season 6
The sixth season of the IT Futsal Challenge was a remarkable and exhilarating 3-day sporting event with Futsal as the highlight and the Women's Penalty Shootout as an additional attraction every year.
The entire event was held at our ever-welcoming United Sports Center, Kochi on November 25, 26, and 27. The event was a big success thanks to an explosive performance by 32 Futsal teams and 8 Women's Penalty Shootout teams.
After an intense face-off, Geojit emerged as this season's Futsal Champions and UST took home the Women's Penalty Shootout trophy.
IT Futsal Challenge 2022 was beautifully brought to a close with an electrifying flash mob from our 'Drop of Life' project.
It upheld the message of ‘Defend Yourself Against Drugs’, the outreach program aimed to spread awareness about drug abuse and de-addiction treatments. Watch the flash mob here: youtube.com/watch?v=O58HCAGFJzs
On-Site Visits & Business Trips Come Back to Life
A few of our Bridgys had a recent on-site catching up to do with Spot On, one of our long-standing clients in Sweden. Besides enjoying their short Scandinavian life, they had a cool blast off interacting with the in-house team of the client.
A small team comprising our CEO went for a business tour to the Netherlands and Sweden after a pandemic-induced gap of two years! It’s an amazing experience as professionals across industries, roles, and countries are getting back on the road to meet in real life and in person once more.
Two-Day Trip to Thekkady
Sometimes, you need an extended break to unravel your free self. That’s why we conduct a two-day trip for all employees every year. We had a soul-filling escapade to Thekkady- an exhilarating getaway renowned for its wildlife aspect. It was indeed a relaxing, rejuvenating, and adventure-filled weekend.
TechWhizz 2022
Our annual tech-business event, TechWhizz, was conducted on December 20, 2022. It was a webinar on entrepreneurship. The founder of Bridge Global, Hugo Messer, talked about “How to Start a Business: A Start-Up Guide for Aspiring Entrepreneurs”. It turned out to be a thumping success by giving lots of interesting insights and new perspectives to those who’re exploring entrepreneurship or in the early stages of launching a venture.
Christmas Celebration
The month of December started with wrapping our office space with a glittering festive ambiance. We were busy decorating our space with garlands, swags, wreaths, ribbons, and of course a magnificent tree as the centerpiece.
It all culminated in a magnificent Christmas Celebration on December 22. Our fabulous party was studded with carols, awards, New Year goodies, Secret Santas’ gifts, cake & wine, and a lot more.
Long-Service & Title Awards
Besides being all Christmassy, our Christmas Celebration embraced a ceremonial vibe as we honored our decade-plus Bridgys with long-service awards in the form of a fascinating photo collage mottled with photos that evoke beautiful memories.
Our long-service awardees are: our CEO Krishna Jothis, Divya Scaria, Vishnu KJ, and Suja.

New Year Gift
It’s a joyful custom at Bridge Global to amaze employees with fabulous New Year Gifts. And this time also, we didn’t fail. Since it was done on our Chritsmas celebration day, we could make it a celebratory event as we could together share the happiness of receiving.
The gift distribution and unwrapping became a festive cheer across all the floors of our office.
