Bridgys are Greeting a Fresh Start in a New Ambience

Bridge Global is in a state of exciting transition, wherein we have moved to a new physical address. We have relocated to a fabulous independent three-storeyed office building at Padivattom in Kochi, Kerala, India.

It’s a dream-come-true occasion for all of us as we have been looking forward to this as an opportunity for a fresh start. We have now settled in our new pad with greater eagerness to excel further in the IT collaboration space.

Inauguration Day: A Fabulous Get-Together

The 19th of July 2018 was our Big Day! Our founder, Hugo Messer, had officially inaugurated the facility with a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony. The day was celebrated as a festive occasion with the alumni of Bridge and families of Bridgys coming together to share our joy.

Sanskriti, the arts and sports committee at Bridge, conducted a string of entertainment programmes and game sessions for the families. The event concluded with a sumptuous lunch.

Why Is This Transition So Special for Us?

It’s a truth that relocating to a new facility acts as a catalyst for a renewed beginning. It helps us to reflect on our vision with a renewed energy. The new office space not only gives us an opportunity to do an aesthetic makeover to our workspaces, but also helps us in resuming our mission with increased vigour.

More physical space– The new spacious office building helps us to meet the need for more physical space as we are growing fast in number. We wholeheartedly welcome more talented techies to become Bridgys.

Updated look and feel – Self-organization coupled with agility is a unique character that unites us all. Each one of us works as self-propelling units with sufficient level of decision-making capacity and accountability. Our airy office ambience reflects our fluid organizational character without any hierarchy.

Meetings are now a trouble-free affair – We now have ample number of meeting rooms to conduct meetings without any hassle. Our big and small meeting rooms can comfortably accommodate different kinds of meetings irrespective of the number of attendees. We also have a large conference room equipped with modern audio-visual equipments and ergonomic chairs. We are sure that more creative suggestions and innovative outlook will spring from these cool spaces.

Enhanced collaborative spaces – We are a group of IT professionals who believe in working with seamless collaboration. We now have ample open spaces to intermingle and interact. We collaborate smoothly with our collocated team members as well as the clients’ teams with which we work as extended teams. We all sit together irrespective of the technology specializations that we belong to. This helps us to promote our cross-functionality further. Our workspaces equipped with the latest technology and collaborative tools help us to be constantly in touch with the clients’ in-house teams sitting in other parts of the world.

Recreation/relaxation spaces– Integrating innovative and creative spaces has been in our plan when we wanted to shift to a new space. Our new office features relaxation and recreation spaces to allow Bridgys to enjoy a break from their work. We believe that productivity will enhance if mind and body are relaxed in between.

Excellent location – Our new facility is sited in a prime locality with easy access from all locations. We are sure that we will be able to attract more eligible talents thanks to this convenient position.

One more feather to the cap of self-organization – Self-organizing teams are the backbone of our organization. A team consisting of a bunch of self-starters known as the BIP Team (Bridge Improvement Plan) had initiated the project. A team known as ‘New Office Building Team’ implemented the new office building project. With guidance and financial support from the company, they voluntarily took the responsibility of hunting a fine location and finalizing the building project. They formed various sub-committees to oversee numerous aspects of relocation. An AutoCAD design of the proposed plan, design and layout of the new building got circulated among all the Bridgys. Everyone has contributed their ideas and improvements. All the feasible suggestions are being implemented.

Conclusion
We are sure that we would be loving Bridge with greater enthusiasm in the new setting. The new place will definitely give a boost to our morale, progressive work culture and upbeat attitude.
